TTS has successfully completed the replacement of two SPEEDTRONIC™ MARK V control systems for a major gas transmission company in the Northeastern United States. The systems, installed on GE Frame 5 gas turbines utilizing DLN combustion technology, were replaced using TTS designed TMS-1000 control systems with PLC architecture.
This unique project, provided on a turnkey basis, included replacement of all turbine control, sequencing and protection functions, in addition to plant control interfaces.
In addition to the control system changeout, remote capability was installed to allow access to both the combustion monitoring system and gas turbine control system, thus allowing real-time remote combustion tuning and unit troubleshooting.
